Bayleigh's New Room
I re-did Bayleigh's room for her this week. I wanted to get rid of the bulky antique full size bed and large dresser to allow for more play space, etc. I love it and so does Bayleigh!!

Dillon's Sock Monkey Nursery
It is still in progress (wall art/etc is not in yet) but... here it is so far!! All of the furniture was in Bayleigh's nursery from 2001! She still had the 2 large pieces in her room up until about 6 months ago. We completely re-did her room and now baby Dillon gets to use his big sister's furniture! :)
I am going to do his name in chocolate brown over the crib (and maybe paint a sock monkey)! We have also ordered a sock monkey switch plate and a sock monkey changing pad cover. Will update pics when the nursery is complete! :)

Our Bugaboo Cameleon Stroller
About the stroller and all of the features:
Bugaboo Cameleon
Fully-loaded for parents who want it all.
Whether infant or toddler, city or beach, winter or summer, the Bugaboo Cameleon is ready to go.
Customizable
Choose the color, the fabric, the seat or bassinet, even the height of your handlebar, everything on the Bugaboo Cameleon is made to go your way.
Modular
The first modular stroller is also the easiest modular stroller. A reversible and independent seat and bassinet allow your child to face you or face the world. Easily adjust the handlebar for height or adapt the chassis for a car seat to click and go.
Multi-terrain
In the city, small swivel wheels in front help navigate tight spaces with one hand and adjustable suspension keeps you rolling smoothly. On rougher roads, reverse the handlebar and, with big wheels forward, you'll be ready for any bumps that come your way. Click into two-wheel position to make easy work of sand and snow.
modular
A unique 3-in-1 design adapts to car seats, reversible bassinet and reversible seat.
reversible seat
One simple click positions your child watching you or watching the world.
bassinet
When not in their parents' arms, it's best for infants to rest flat on their backs. On the chassis or the nursery floor, the Bugaboo bassinet with built in aerated seat inlay provides a safe, home-in-bed feeling wherever you go.
3-position tilting seat
No more slouching in the stroller. The 3-position seat adjusts to suit the mood of your infant or toddler. Sit up straight when awake, recline when relaxed, or lie flat when asleep.
click and go buttons
Intuitive white buttons signal interactive function including locking the chassis, reversing, releasing and reclining the seat, setting the brake and adjusting the handlebar.
one piece height-adjustable handlebar
One stroller fits all when the handlebar extends up or down to make sure you stroll comfortably.
small wheels forward
Put the small swivel wheels forward for easy one-handed 360 turns.
big wheels forward
Reverse the handlebar to go with the tread covered, foam-filled, 12-inch wheels forward and master hiking trails, gravel paths, and other rough roads.
handlebar down
Tuck the handlebar beneath the chassis so that your child can enjoy a seat at the table.
adjustable suspension
The suspension ensures a smooth ride for children up to 37.5 lbs.
modular fold
The modular fold of the Bugaboo Cameleon collapses the stroller easily into two lightweight pieces to fit a trunk or closet.
two-wheel position
The Bugaboo Cameleon switches easily from four wheels to two so that you glide over sand or snow.
centrial axis
Controls the reversible handlebar, reversible seat, two-wheel position for sand and snow, and the compact folding system.
brake block
When activated, attempted movement is met with resistance and sound from the brake "teeth," a functional signal built in for safety.
carry handle
Move your child from chassis to nursery without disturbing naptime.
rain cover
Your child can watch the rain without ever getting wet with our clear rain cover. Easy on and off, it folds and stores in the underseat bag so you're always ready for a rainy day.
machine washable fabric
Our base and tailored fabrics are durable, comfortable and easily removable. They withstand machine washes as often as your child makes messes.

We have a winner!
Dillon is the baby's name! (no middle name decided yet) We chose this particular spelling after my great-grandfather whose name was Thomas Dill.
Origin: Gaelic
Meaning: Faithful
We go for our 20 week ultrasound tomorrow. I am very excited to get to see him again! :)
UPDATE - 4/13/2010 - We have chosen a middle name! Dillon Travis Bass; Travis was Phillip's mother's maiden name. :)

Boy Name Contenders/Baby Shower Notes
My favorite name, Grayson, got the boot. Phillip just did not like it at all. The 3 that we are thinking about now are Kamden/Camden, Jackson, and Dylan/Dillon. I think I like Kamden the best, but I am sure I will change my mind soon enough. ;)
The baby shower is set for Saturday, March 27 - 2pm - Stones River Country Club's River Room. Invitations are going out next week! Thank you to Ashley, Becca, Lori, and Mom for all coming together and throwing it for Phillip and me!! It will be SOCK MONKEY THEMED (the nursery is sock monkey themed as well)! HOW FUN!! Can't wait!
Phillip and I are registered at Target/target.com...

It's a BOY!!!
@ 19 weeks:
Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.
Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

These 2 photos below are the same shot, but different cell phones took it so there is a little bit of contrast between the two. This is a 4-d shot showing the baby from a side view holding the umbilical cord, which is coincidentally in the shape of the letter B!! Look closely!!

New Master Bedroom Furniture - Before & Afters! :)
I found this Broyhill 4 piece furniture set for a great price at a consignment shop and I've been wanting to try out a "shabby chic" finish... so, our bedroom is getting a makeover!
We painted a flat finish, dark brown paint over all of these pieces, then took a cream colored paint and rolled the high points to give it a darker and more solid look and just kind of free-handed the rest to give it the aged, shabby-chic look!

New Bedding & Lamps
The quilt set was purchased from overstock.com.
Our bedroom walls are being painted a bit lighter than the color
that runs in between each design in the blanket.
It is a warm tan color, called Butterfly Wing (by Behr).
The lamps for the nightstands are below.
I got them secondhand for $20 for the pair!
I think that I am going to paint them really light blue like
one of the quilt squares and use either red or tan lamp shades.
